Forex Training

Right now, forex trading is the most popular part time work from home opportunity. Forex trading is the recession proof answer to the today’s stock market crisis. Anyone can trade forex now from home by going online.

Forex and stock markets basically work differently. People buy stocks as a long term investment hoping that these stocks are going to appreciate in value in a few years, giving them capital gain to build their retirement portfolios. In forex trading, most of the people trade short term maybe a day, a few days or at most a few months.

Forex markets are open 24/5 meaning 24 hours, 5 days a week except on Saturday and Sunday. As compared to forex markets, stock markets have fixed hours usually from morning to evening. After the close of a stock exchange the trading on that stock exchange stops.

Forex trading is a highly liquid market. Most of the participants in the forex markets are either hedgers or speculators. Big institutions are looking for hedging their forex exchange risk whereas small traders are looking for speculating opportunities and willing to take on risk. Stocks are considered to be a long term investment.

In forex trading, you are only dealing with mostly 5 currencies: USD, GBP, CHF, EURO and JPY whereas in stock trading, you have to look for promising stocks among thousands of stocks listed on the stock markets.

Forex trading offers you the advantage of lower trading costs as compared to stock trading. In forex trading, there are no commissions, only the spread between the bid/ask price that you have to pay. In stock trading you have a pay a commission to your broker per trade.

Stock Market Crash of 2008 was terrible. More than $11 trillion of wealth was wiped out in 2008 alone. Many people lost more than 60% of their retirement savings. Even investments in blue chip stocks considered to be safe lost considerable value.

Stock markets are going to take a few more years to recover. There is always either a bull market or a bear market prevailing in stocks. In forex, there is always a bull market. Since forex trading is done in currency pairs, if one currency goes down, the other currency goes up.

Daily more than $3 trillion get traded on the forex markets. If you combine all the stock markets of the world, even then they cannot the match the size of the forex market. Forex markets are so huge that even governments and central banks are unable to control them.

Many people have lost most of their retirement savings in the stock market of 2008. They still don’t know how they are going to recover their retirement accounts again…

How To Be An Effective Waiter At Applebee’s

If you ever wanted to become a waiter, your best bet would be to start somewhere friendly to beginners such as Applebee’s. At Applebee’s, you will learn how to effectively cater to customers in order to get large cash tips and a rewarding career.

There is a lot of training that will have to be done before you can accurately call yourself a competent waiter at Applebee’s. The first hurdle to jump over is getting to know the entire menu, so you can easily call out specials and other information for customers. You will likely get a larger tip from this, as customers will note that you take pride in providing a good service, and will show their satisfaction with their wallet. Keep up to date as new foods and drinks come out.

You yourself should try most things on the menu, even if this means trying something you may not care for or paying for something out of your own pocket. Customers who come to a restaurant with the mindset of trying something new will want personalized advice- something an Applebee’s waiter should obviously be able to give.

Try not to show any weaknesses to a customer. If you get a small break or don’t have anything to do at the moment, don’t stand around in the lobby talking to friends. This will show that you are lazy about your job, as you could be helping other waitresses or checking up on other customers. This way customers will truly believe you earned a tip- and that they aren’t simply conforming to the general rule of tipping.

Being courteous is a must for getting good tips at Applebee’s. Even when things start to get out of hand with anger, you should instead direct attention towards your manager. Politely tell the customer that you aren’t trained to handle disputes, and that your manager would be a better candidate. In doing so, you will avoid a situation where you will either incur blame, or get a short tip from dissatisfaction.

Even though mistakes happen, you should make it a goal of yours to make as few mistakes as possible. Forgetting an order, a drink, or any special requests can be detrimental to your overall tip and the satisfaction of the customer. You should leave legible marks in your notepad on what the customer wants, and always repeat an order back to confirm the order so there is no confusion. Take your time- speed typically allows for greater error.

Final Thoughts

Working at Applebee’s can be a very rewarding experience. With experience being a waiter, you will eventually be able to get into the swing of things and start earning a substantial amount of money each hour. It all depends on you and your abilities- as well as your personality.

Choose a Future Career

Choosing a future career can be a potentially daunting task. Some are blessed with dreams for careers. They know what they want to do with their life because they are great at it and love it. Some have wanted to do it since they were a child.

Not everyone has it this easy. Other people have no clue where they want to take their life, even as late as college graduation. It’s scary to think a small decision could decide the rest of your life.

Choosing your future career shouldn’t be so scary. You should be able to know that even if what you choose to go to college for falls through, it doesn’t mean your life is ruined forever.

If you are still lost and need a good starting point, think about your strengths and weaknesses. What kinds of tasks and ideas do you enjoy and are you good at? What were your favorite subjects in school?

Avoid careers in areas you dislike or are bad at. For example, if you are good at math but hate writing, don’t look for a job in editing. Maybe you could try something in business.

Look into one or two broad areas of interest that you are drawn to. Look into different careers that are available in this field and find out more about them. Do you see anything you think you could do?

Look further into interesting careers. Look at what they do, how much they earn, what the hours and working conditions are like, possible advancement, and anything else that is important to you in a job.

If you aren’t sure what to do for the rest of your life, do as much research as possible. Don’t fret over choosing the wrong career. You can always change it later on if you need to.
