How to make money using free classified ads

Free classified ads are a great way to generate income be it from your own business or if you are just looking to sell some odds and ends from around the house. The popularity of the internet actually gives a purpose back to classified ads. In the old days, you would spend a small fortune and have a one day ad in the local paper, not any more. Now you can put a free ad up on the net to a much wider audience that will stay there for weeks, month and possibly forever.

I know the skepticism is flying right now as this seems to good to be true, but it is in fact 100% true. You can set up and market your own business via the free network of sites that are available to you on the net. Still don’t believe? Do a search of ‘free classified ads’ and see what you come up with. You are going to see millions of hits. Each and every one of these represents a possible outlet for you to do business.

Using free classified ads to make money is being exploited by everyone and there mother right now. The beauty of the whole thing is that you actually don’t even need to be selling a service or a product to make money this way. You can use the classified ads as a way to generate traffic to a site that will lead to income!

It is no secret that we all need money right now. The economy is worst than it has ever been and everyone is trying to make an extra buck in any way that they can. This is where the free ads come in. You start up a niche blog about whatever, it really doesn’t matter for this example. Then you line up some advertising and of course have some affiliate banners going on your site. All the while, you are posting free classified ads all over the web.

Here is the beauty of the whole operation. Now you have done all of this for free. There are plenty of blogging sites out there that you can use free of charge and you are driving people to your site for free. Now with the increased traffic that you have created with these ads, you are getting people to open up accounts or buy things, all of which you get a cut of because you are an affiliate. And you are also getting money from the advertisers that are on your blog. The more hits you get on your site, they more they will pay. You haven’t sold a thing and yet you are making cash!

Of course, you can also use this to work your own business. Say you are selling baseball cards. You are obviously going to have your own website up but you need to create traffic so that you can make some money. You are going to go to as many of these sites as you can and post your business to try and drive traffic.

No matter what you are trying to sell though, make sure you use the right keywords. Both the major and internal search engines on any site will not work to your advantage if you are not using the right titles and keywords for your service or item. Check other sites and look to see what the most popular ones are using and make them work for you.

While we have gone into quite a bit of ways to make free classified ads work for you, we have not even scratched the surface. Remember, we are talking about millions of sites out there that are ready to work for you if you let them. Do a little research and make use of the opportunity that is being served up on a silver platter for you.

Employment Classifieds

The unemployment rate is as high as it has ever been in close to 30 years. With all of these people out of work, finding a job is getting tougher and tougher. You need to take advantage of every possible outlet in finding a job. Employment classifieds are a great way to get started.

There are many ways to make use of this opportunity, but most people simply browse the opening pages and then give up. After all, everyone and their mother will see the same jobs so what is the point? Not so fast doomsayer, you can also post your own ad and have employers looking for you! Let’s take a quick look at how you can make the most of employment classified ads.

Let’s start with the basic employment classifieds. Your local paper will have them in a couple of editions every week. The Sunday paper is automatic, but most publications are going with at least two times a week now to take advantage of the market. You may also want to either subscribe or go to the library and look at industry specific publications, just about every one of them has added a classified section to help out job seekers during this horrible economic climate.

Now you are going to do the same thing on the internet. If you do a search for employment classifieds, you are going to see hundreds of thousands of sites that offer employment classified listings. Most industries will have their own classified sections so you can start there and then expand out as you get used to how to do the searches. You will have to sift through all kinds of junk of these sites to find the legitimate jobs, but they are definitely in there among the scam artists.

While many may not consider job boards like Monster and HCareers employment classified ads, what else would you call them? They are merely one large help wanted ad. This is where you can really spend some time. These sites have everything organized and there are also a ton of industry specific job boards that can help you pinpoint opportunities across the country.

You are also going to want to check the employment classifieds on the social network pages. It may seem like an unlikely place to go but they too have added sections for people looking for jobs and a little exploration might just land you a position.

Okay, we have been doing reconnaissance to this point, now it is time to go on the offensive. Start doing you own posting! All of but the print ads will allow you to make your own posting for free. You would be surprised how many employers sift through these sites looking for people that are looking for work. A great idea is to start up a blog and create another link where you can have your resume posted and put this link up on a classified or on a social page.

This is basically the same process that is available to you on the job boards. Each and every one of these employment classified sites will allow you to not only post your resume for employers to seek, but you can also have job alerts sent right to you as soon as they become available. Now instead of you doing all the work, the site is working for you and you will only need to go on there when you get an alert that a job meeting your criteria has been posted.
