My No-News Resolution
I woke up this morning without turning the television on or reading the newspapers. I can’t say if I can make it without getting updated with what’s happening, since there’s 38 days more to go. In fact, a diet is much more easier. I mean, I can stand 40 days without BBQ or steak, but being away from television and newspapers is really tough, especially with all the Democratic Party’s talking and proposing.
Essentially, they are going to put an end to the economic juncture, and lead in government health care by taxing 2% of the population, and they are those who annually earn more than $250 grand. They are taking away tax deductions such as mortgage interests and charitable giving.
And this is gonna have the Mel Brooks’ History of the World Part I effect where he was asked about the welfare of the poor, and he sarcastically answered, “The Poor? Screw the poor!”
Charities, which do good work day in and day out on the contributions of those with money, (meaning mostly those who make over 250K), will grind to a screeching halt under this idiotic proposal. But this has been part of the Obamessiah plan from the start. We were always taught that charity begins at home, but under this proposal charity will become the work of government. (And it will come with all kinds of strings attached, which is not the case now.)
What about the Government healthcare? With Clinton administration it was determined to be a mess, now it’s going to be chaos. Just wait until you have to sit in a government run waiting room, you’ll see people that don’t fit to work there but for some reason, some fishy reason that is, can never even be fired even for being incompetent.
The Republicans should not wait for the election before making a move, they should start getting their butts geared now and start fighting. It’s obvious now that Obama and the Democratic Party are laying them out.
Clinton had his bell rung in the off year election, and everyone should start fighting Obama and his absurd team. A team that couldn’t shoot straight, and borrowing a line (sort of) from the great Democrat Jimmy Breslin, even though he was a Democrat (but he wasn’t a member of the this Dumbo-cratic Party)
Can I do forty days? We’ll see. I’m going to give it the old college try.
